  Thanks Abbas. This application is a part of a huge sms sending application, which needs frequent code updates to keep the service working. You can use my API anytime you want, as it is already serving 11,000+ SMS per day (as per Sep 2011) and it will keep working. I will be adding more service providers soon.   Ok. I will take it as an enhancement and try to put it in my next release. I don’t promise this, but i will try if people actually want it. It will cause an additional delay while sending a msg, because i will have to check every time if the number is registered in DND or not.

Please check the way2sms. It is not sending the sms, it through the exception (-1). Please let me know once you done this.
I guess except way2sms all other API’s are not able to send a sms to multiple number if I given the number separated by “,”

        Yes. The limit is applicable per provider. So you can do one work, use multiple providers. This way you can send more than 200 msgs.

  jamal .. actually, it’s not API responsible for msg delivery, it fullonsms website fault. I am also facing the same problem since last week. Messages are not being delivered on time or not delivered for all time, but for some network only like airtel and vodafone.

      The 200 sms per day limit is imposed by TRAI.. Its not in my hand to increase the limits.. Better option would be to use all the providers instead of one.

Really nice work and I’m enjoying, but only one think i would like to request, is it possible for you to make your code for download, so that few more programmers can work on and can solve lot of things, as few days back i checked and fullonsms was not working. But today it is working fine. Also i found that site2sms is only allows 11 sms and than it gives msg that max hours limit is exceeded for your 99XXXXXX.

One more suggestion
For fullonsms why don’t u add group sms function, it will be the gr8 features in your api. As i tried and if you use group msg, there is no limit. It is in reality unlimited.
Not sure but i think it is not a big deal for you as only one extra input is required i.e. group id and page is different than single SMS page.

  I checked with the group sms feature… It doesnt help much since the group limit is max 15 people.. so in one request you can send a msg to 15 people at a time. Good to some extent. But since this API is being used mainly for Bulk SMS purposes, adding each person to a group in Fullonsms itself would be a pain…

      I did some regression testing on Full on sms and found that 75% of the requests are failing.. its not a prob with my api, but the fullonsms servers.. its damn slow these days.. use way2sms till the issue is solved.. according to me way2sms is the best service in terms of delivery

Nice.. Pretty Nifty.. Actually most popular sites can be done.. All u need is to use the service, capture the IP packets using ethereal.. Note the Http Request/Reponse Messages u can make out all the Required pages , Host a Web Server of your own and then provide a single API for all sites… Simple yet very elegant… Ok now i will begin writing a Android App for this, should keep me busy for a while.. My only concern is that i see that the password is being sent in plain sight.. And since u act as a proxy, your server which is hosting the API Code can actually Record the username and password.. But there’s nothing much which can be done with this… Anyways will post the APP when its done…

But one provider have no limitations means Unlimited and seding in night time also.

  I’m not sure about the request failed error. I think my server is now breaking down and not able to take so many requests
  Way2sms allows you to send to DND numbers, and is reliable in terms of delivery. However, way2sms does not allow you to send more than 200 sms per day from the same account. So you will have to get multiple accounts from Way2sms and then use them in Round Robin fashion.
  Why dont you look out for commercial SMS packages, to send so many sms per day? It would cost you around 3,000 Rs per month, but its best in class according to me.
